Council owns and maintains community halls, sports grounds swimming pools and meeting rooms available for a wide range of uses including sports, classes, assemblies and events. Some facilities are managed by Section 355 committees and can be booked directly through contact details listed in the facility information. For patrons wishing to swim laps/exercise it is recommended to contact the facility to book a lane. A further easing of COVID-19 restrictions has seen the Jindabyne indoor pool reopen to more members of the community. The pool had recently reopened to squad swimmers but following last week’s further easing of restrictions, the pool is now open to the public. The pool is open to the public for lap swimming and rehabilitation exercises between 11am - 3pm Monday to Friday, and 11am - 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays. There is no playing in the pool. The public will need to book before they swim. Bookings can be made on 6456 1051 between 11am - 6.30pm. Bookings will be available on the hour and people are required to arrive at the pool ready to swim.
